My mother and her sister would just leave, literally leave the house, without telling me and I would be responsible for my little sister and cousin. They would come back and wouldn't offer to pay me and when I would ask for a little money THEY were insulted! I think this is just what you call family. She wants to come and visit me because it is a cheap holiday for her and her dog, she said and I quote 'it's all about me being able to spend more time with the dog'. After a slight pause for reflection she also said 'of course I like the fuss and attention too'. So nothing about spending quality time with me then! One day I'll stop wanting her to be my mother and just be content to have a twat for a next of kin! What to do in the meantime? My mother is also a twat, you have my sympathies.
