Melissa, check out http://www.obesityhelp.com. It’s a great place to research the different surgeries. I have been told that Roux-n-Y gastric bypass is the “gold standard” in weight loss surgery.
As of today, 5/23, I weighed 289. I’ve now lost 54 pounds since surgery (my day-of-surgery weight was 343). That’s a grand total of 72 pounds from my all-time high of 361 (last Thanksgiving). The last time I weighed this little was probably in 1995. If you saw me in person, I don’t think you’d think I weigh 289. I have one of those weird bodies that weighs much more than it looks. In high school, I weighed about 200 pounds, but wore a size 13/14, if that gives you some perspective.
AWSOME!!! I hope everything is going well.
Wow! You are looking good. Congratulations on the 69 pounds.
I am thinking about lap band. I have not read a lot about it. Any thoughts or advice?
The skull and crossbones are a big improvement over Britney :o).

It’s the Incredibly Shrinking Woman!
Way to go, untitled!
I have to say…AWESOME.
I don’t know how you looked like before this, but 69 pounds is definitely something to shout about. Keep it up!!
Happy to see your latest post and pic. I check every day to see if you’ve updated your blog.

You are looking great. It makes me want to go sign up :o)!
Thanks again,

So glad you’re back! So 69 pounds puts you under 300, right?
