I made sure when we bought about 6 yrs ago that we didn't go above our means. I wanted the bigger, nicer house, but I know we couldn't really afford it and we didn't need it being just a family of 3. But it still gets tight when I decided to stay home when he was baby, that one income is damn hard!! And now I'm in college again so the bills never end. Well, maybe someday we will save some money, not to mention more college savings for the child! That must suck to worry about the house payment.
