I am the idiot who took the brownie motto "Do a good deed" to heart. I went to a stranger's house and did the dishes, even though I hated (still do) doing the dishes. In retrospect, I am so very glad I didn't tell Ma about my good deed.

Damn Brownies were totally out to get us girls... I was so excited to go on my very first camping trip with them, only to be told that I couldn't go, since that was very first meeting. It seems you to have to earn it or something. Stinky Brownies.

So, in short, we're here for you.

Ouch. But you know what I LOVE that untitledmother sewed you your own uniform. I want to think that was her way of sticking it to The Man and letting everyone know that standard uniform or not, her girl BELONGED.

This sounds like a very serious decision. I watched "The incredible shrinking woman" the other night on the Discovery channel (I think)... and I was surprised at the long term nutritional issues with this surgery. This woman was after some sort of post weight loss surgery (breast reconstruction if memory serves), and the surgeon refused to operate on her as she was, in his view, not sufficiently nourished to survive another operation. He also noted she would be like this for the rest of her life. I found this fact a troubling offset for the obvious relief of finally losing the weight..... Regardless, I know a decision like this is not made in haste (thus all the shrinks etc.) and I hope it all goes well.
