Why are you not happy that your mother takes care of herself. Let her do what makes her happy. Old age is difficult. I am 65 years old and enjoy my acryl nails as well my purple hair colour. Taking a little joy out of what is left in life should not be a subject to your bitter critics. Let me know what you will do when you reach your mother's age!

I love this. I laughed out loud despite my fussy coworkers looking over my shoulder at every peep and snort. This is my mother exactly! The out of wack priorities, the wastefullness, and the perfect uptight false face to the world.
